Okay, I admit it. I'm biased. Kathy is a close friend. S
he's also a marvelous songwriter. She blends bluegrass, folk and country in her newest record, Reason and Rhyme. Wait 'til you hear "I Once Loved."

I discovered Rusty during Paul McCartney's 2002 Back in the US Tour. He's Paul's lead guitarist. He is also a fabulous singer and songwriter in his own right. Witness Undressing Underwater, his 2003 solo release.

LetIt Be... Naked. I've been listening to boots of this for over twenty years - it's nice to hear a clean version.

I ventured into the California desert to pay homage to him - founder of country rock in my book - Grievous Angel playing in my head the whole way.

Read the story I wrote about encountering his spirit at Joshua Tree.

I've seen Lucinda lots of times, queen of bittersweet alt country. She always puts on a great show. Her latest, World Without Tears, was nominated for a Grammy and I sure think it deserves one. "Ventura" is my current faorite.

If you like soulful, vintage rock and roll, you'll love swamp pop. Tommy's one of the best at it, try Sweet Dreams.

I couldn't find a website for him. Louisiana Music factory is my fave music store in NOLA.
